Point 2: Our friends, families and teachers can encourage us. And thats good. But all of their encouragement vanishes pretty quickly like soap bubbles in the air or like this perfume after awhile. But Gods encouragement lasts forever!
If I would have been able to convince a pediatrician to order a sleep study before my son was 8 years old, we would have found the epilepsy sooner. I requested a sleep study, for the first time, when he was 6 weeks old. I knew that there was something going on in his sleep. But I couldnt convince anybody to look into it. I kept hearing, Well, ADHD children dont need as much sleep. And I would hear, Tics and twitches are common in ADHD children. Some of those tics and twitches were seizures. And some of the things that my son went through while on ADHD medications were very scary.
