Being a mother of small children, I always leave the house with that little feeling of missing something. Especially on long trips such as camping and a visit to theme parks, I get the nagging feeling that I forgot something and I will only realize it when I really need it.
Let me explain why this meant so much to me. My mom was always a vibrant, active woman who spent most of her time in the kitchen cooking enough food for an army of Tribbles. When she developed serious health issues it put an end to long hours spent talking about our lives while she taught me how to bake all of the family recipes that have been passed down through generations.
But most schools don't teach kids about money. Don't you think it's ironicthe knowledge that benefits your children the most is taught the least? That's where you come in.
