In order to get free from the pain of divorce, I did a lot of introspective work with a therapist. I knew that I could not come from a place of blaming and call myself healthy. Since I am a long way past those early days, I now can say that in truth, blaming is a sign of vulnerability. In those days, my ex could hurt me. Divorce is like tangoing - it takes two to tango. I did a lot of work to look on at my side of the equation, not just hers. I believe that it pays a major compliment to your ex to acknowledge that in their own time and in their own way, they will handle all of their life challenges and it doesn't matter how long it takes them. It only matters how long it takes you. It's important to quit blaming them so that you can handle all of your life challenges. When you understand how to quit blaming, you give that as a gift to your children.
When these kids are in school, they do not do anything there either. They do not participate in school athletics. They probably try every thing they can to get out of gym class to. There whole day is spent waiting until they can get home and sit their butts back in front of the TV and start those video games again. I have seen it first hand. My nephew and all his friends each have a portable TV. They have xbox parties. Every one meets at the same house. They all bring their TVs and game consoles. There big activity for the night really is no activity at all, except for their fingers moving at rapid speeds. You will not burn any calories doing that.
Theres another way to drastically reduce the expenses of coaching, and that is to coach your little ones yourself. It has more than just monetary benefits. Not only would you save on massive costs, but you would also get an excellent way to bond with your kids. You dont have to be an expert at the sport, only enthusiastic enough to spend some quality time with your little ones.
