In the case of a big theme park like Disney World, you begin to lose yourself among the many attractions and there is a tug and pull on what everyone will decide to do. You felt you had a system in tact on how to keep everyone in order but the impulse of child quickly dissolves whatever plan you had to stay together. The excitement of everything has your kid on edge and they are running to and fro making it impossible to keep up. Before you know it, instead of enjoying your time at the park you are frantically searching for misplaced kids throughout your tripWhat so fun about that?
If this describes your child, I can imagine your frustration. Years ago, before I became a child and family counselor, I taught the elementary grades. I noted that my third graders could read and work somewhat on their own. My second graders read less well and had less focus power. My first graders were just learning to read and could concentrate even less. My kindergarteners were wiggle worms.
Overweight: Being overweight is not only unhealthy, but it will also negatively impact the kid's self esteem, confidence, and social life.
There are many ways to teach kids to be safe on Halloween. In my eyes, probably the most important safety tip is for kids to go with an adult. As that is not always the case, they should at a minimum, go with a friend or preferrably a group of friends. Teach kids to not leave the group or leave one another at any time. Children should be told to not get into a vehicle of anyone they don't have permission to go with for any reason.
