Edible Jewelry. This is a very creative and fun way to play with your food! You will need shoe string licorice (not the rope style, as the licorice will be the string) and goodies that have some sort of hole in them. Example would be: Cheerios, pretzels, gummy lifesavers, mini donuts and dried apple rings. String the items along the licorice 'thread' and tie the two ends together. You can make necklaces and bracelets!
Recently, studies suggest that another reason why kids get bruxism is sleep disturbances. These sleep disturbances can also provoke drooling, bet wetting or sleep talking. Because REM patterns (rapid eye movement) are interrupted while you sleep if you're dehydrated, this can signal a number of other issues, but your dentist can give you more advice about that.
Fast food is cheap, delicious and more importantly, a favorite among kids. Fast food restaurants are a great place to hold birthday parties for kids. However, thats not the only benefit they offer. Most fast food restaurants come with a kids playing area. As soon as the kids are done eating their meals, they can simply storm into the play area with their newest action figures as the parents watch nearby.
Some parents plan elaborate birthday parties, paramount to a royal function. Not only is this expensive, difficult to coordinate and often chaotic, it's usually a waste of time. Kids don't care as much about lavish events as parents do. Successful birthday parties include entertainment, games and of-course, cake. Some special activities are fun, like a bouncy castle, but keep the party under control by keeping it simple. Kids are just as impressed throwing water balloons about, having a sack race or playing that old fashioned game of musical chairs. Simple activities are easier to control and supervise and are much less likely to cause upset or injury. So keep it simple, safe and fun.
