One of the great things about alphabet blocks is they come with no rules and no instructions. Kids get to make up their own rules and play away. The sky is the limit for what they can do with them and how much they can learn. The blocks encourage open-ended explorations.
If by any means you feel that you are not doing enough for your child by staying on the sidelines when he is in trouble, make up for that by finding opportunities for them to learn. Observe your little ones, find out their interests and choose activities that your kids can take up to improve their social and mental abilities. Being part of a team of kids who brush their teeth, fold their shirts and clean up after them would help the child learn much faster than if he is simply told to do so by his parents. Optimizing environment also includes making sure that the kids are not being exposed to any harmful material like electric wires or corrosive chemicals.
6. Extracurricular activities The thing about kids is that they are all unique. You can't really pinpoint one thing to be the general mode of entertainment for everyone. Kids have their own forms of entertainment in extra curricular activities. Some kids adore sports while others prefer to write. A child can only discover his talents and passions through encouragement. As a parent you must be supportive of your child's talents whatever that may be. Of course you can't force your child to be passionate about something he's not so try not to force things on your child if he shows no interest in it.
