Pax Ivanna. kids. August 23rd , 2017.
Don't get me wrong, attacks do happen and there is nothing more distressing than seeing a child that has been mauled by a dog. But there are precautions that can be taken, such as educating both the child and the dog, and there are dog breeds that one should perhaps be very wary of when there are small children around. I, for instance, would feel much more comfortable if my kids were playing with a sausage dog than a pit bull terrier. (I can almost hear the pit bull owners howling that 'its not the dog, its the way they are treated.' But still, my sausage dog would do a lot less damage if it turned loopy than a pit bull would. Thats just my opinion.)
Now at 26, I dont do it as often as those times but nonetheless once in a while I indulge for remedy and get unparalleled satisfaction. The point is ever so often getting your kids to partake in art and crafts is important and the cost involved is worth it as everything can be obtained from your local art supplies store. If not home they will at school in the arts and crafts lessons.
Either count out an equal number of raisins on to each child's plate, or dole out a few more to older players to even things out a little. On the word "Go!", each nibbler must have one hand behind their back and pick up and eat the raisins using only a cocktail stick (watch out for sharp ends). Different techniques may be applied, gathering lots on to the stick before having a mouthful, or collecting and eating one at a time very quickly, whatever suits. Also try with peas, grapes, sweet corn or baked beans.
Socially, kids in this age group are more interested in belonging to their peer group than they were in the preschool years. They have become less interested in playing with kids of the opposite sex preferring friends of the same sex. They have developed increased skills in cooperative playing with groups of kids, so they get more enjoyment from group activities. They are at the beginning stages of being able to participate in competitive team sports. They have an increased sense of fairness and in living up to standards, both for themselves and for the groups they belong to. They continue to grow more interested in dramatic plays so they get increased enjoyment from producing shows and plays. They have entered the beginning stages of showing interest in the bigger community.
