Instead, find a good park or busy playground and go on an adventure with them. Allow them to tell you what to do and while they enjoy the moment you capture it for them. This may take a couple times practice, but eventually your child will get use to you having a camera in hand and forget it's even present. Children have such great imaginations and you will actually enjoy the things your child will share with you as you both create memories.

They can run, jump, go on swings, go down slides, and depending on the park, they maybe able to go on ropes. This is a great idea for children to really get their "wiggles" out. It's really nice, because most towns, villages, and cities have them--EVERYWHERE, and they're free for cost!
