A kids math help technique I used with my son when he was younger was the 'measuring trick'. Most kids get a real buzz out of knowing they have grown a little and you can use this to your advantage. My son loves the idea that he could well be as tall as me one day ( I'm 6 ft 3" ). Whenever I measured him I would point out how tall he was on the tape measure or wall chart and then ask him 'what number comes next ( how tall will you be next )?'.
This may not be something every parent wants to do, but it certainly worked well for me. You can use food very strategically as a motivator; space out the treats that you give along the way. You can set expectations and goals when you start your hike.
Trampolines are enclosed with a safety net that protects kids from falling off. They are built to be sturdier and bounce kids back to where they took off from, preventing kids from colliding into one another. Of course, it is always recommended that only one child jumps on a trampoline at a time.
